Lady Patriots Tie for Fourth Place at Pioneer Shootout

The Lady Patriot Golf Team tied for a fourth place finish at the Pioneer Shootout at Hiddenbrooke Golf Course in Vallejo, California on March 9. DBU’s 84-over-par total 660 tied them with Pennsylvania University, and left them only two shots back of the third place finisher, St. Martin’s University.
Freshman Whitney Novak recorded a 15-over-par total of 159, tying her for sixth place in individual competition. Senior Heather Wilbur followed closely behind in 11th place with a final score of 19-over-par.
Freshman Julia DaneshFar (+23) and Junior Kristen Tucker (+27) finished 15th and 20th, respectively.
The Lady Patriots will return to action on March 22 when the travel to Wichita Falls for a tournament hosted by Midwestern State University.
